memory fault during startup

My image fails during start-up with memory fault (on Linux) and with an unreadable exception
on Windows. Because I have many changes in the image, not yet filed out or stored in StORE,
I need urgently to get it to run or to get the changes otherwise.

Is there a way ? Failsafe start ? Reconstruct changes ?

Any help is very much appreciated.

You could use another image, load from Store what you had loaded in the defective image, and read your latest changes from the changes file using the Change List (it’s in the Tools menu). If you have a backup of the image, you can start that one, replace its changes file by the changes file of the defective image, and use the “Recover Changes...” function. Or just use a fresh image, and replay the whole changes file. Depending on the size of the changes file, this may need some time, but it should recover everything.
