mirrors vs. reflection

Why are mirrors considered to be better option than reflection itself
integrated inside objects/classes?

I've googled a little but nothing gave me satisfactory answer.

because you could control what is given acccess to or not.
But mirror have the self problem since you have multiple objects. the obect and their mirrors
