pharo one-click image and GemStone-25439.Linux-x86_64.

Ivan, Liliana

Hi.

I installed the GemStone-25439.Linux-x86_64. server and the GemTools-1.0-beta.8-244x.app pharo one-click gemtools image and when trying to log in I get the following error:

Netldi ''gs64ldi'' on host ''rmb-vdv-gemstone.rmb.co.za'' reports the request '''' failed:

Requested version level 800, this server is at level 3000'

Otto suggested I look for client libraries in the server ; but I searched the tar.gz file and found nothing.

Can you help?

Thank you

Oh,

Sorry, and trying to update off the gofer repository gives me

Cannot connect to 130.92.65.106:80

(that might be the RMB network , though….)

The correct gci library files can be found in the lib32 directory of the
release ... You might find some pointers here:

If it is an RMB network problem, you should be able to take an image
outside of your network then follow the instructions for creating a
"cache repository" (use ConfigurationOfGemTools):

http://code.google.com/p/metacello/wiki/FAQ#How_do_I_create_a_local_cache_repository_for_a_config?

and then bring the directory back behind your firewall and load from the
"cache repository" following these instructions:

http://code.google.com/p/metacello/wiki/FAQ#How_do_I_override_the_repository_for_a_config?
