[pier] Glorp for pier?

David Zmick
Would it be possible to use a database, say Postgres with pier, instead of magma. I know it doesn't already exist, but is it even possible?

I have some classes for mapping Magritte descriptions in/out of MySql
tables.
(see magritte-RDB in magritte addons) I havent tried glorp which
postgres users tend to favour.

However Magma integration with Pier is really very straight forward
indeed, so its probably worth getting through the pain barrier on that one.

Load Pier-PersistencyManager and Pier-Magma from sake/packages (or
universes).

Its a while since I looked at it, so apologies if it doesn't work first
time with the latest pier.

cheers

Keith

Ok, I am working on magma in a fresh squeak-web 3.10 image, but i need to get the pier kernel out of my old image.  Let me check if i can get magma to work in the old one though first
