can someone in the wild look at this?

Yeah, I can reproduce it with Chrome, FireFox. No problem with Safari
and Opera though. Did you try to disable the session cookies? I suspect some problem with the redirect Pier 2.0 is doing. I think a change I made to try to solve another issue has caused this problem. I've reverted the change - assuming you have the latest Pier - try grabbing - Pier-Seaside-NickAger.526

okay, i am gonna have to do something.. there is a pretty big problem
somewhere with this thing.. some sites load up the stylesheet, some don't.. and different problems with browser/locations.. do i just use monticello to update? now, i really wish i would have gone with my gut and uploaded my image with remote desktop installed.. do i just use monticello to update? I haven't updated ConfigurationOfPier2 yet to take the latest changes so Monticello is the way to go. I assume you are using a recent image, in which case it should just be a matter of using Monticello to load Pier-Seaside-NickAger.526.
