png reader in gemstone?

I’m in the final stages of wrapping up the Parasol port to GemStone [1].

One test I cannot get to work immediately requires reading a PNG image from a bytearray.

For now, I marked that test as an expected failure as it’s not a core functionality of Parasol, but it would be cool to get it working.

In Pharo, this can be done as follows:

PNGReadWriter formFromStream: aByteArray readStream.

Did anybody do that yet in Gemstone?
