possible to integrate VSS commands directly into source browser

I wonder if it is possible to integrate VSS (or other SCCS) commands
directly into the source browser. The possibility to check-in/out files
directly from the source browser would be cool.
Are there any preparations done  in Dolphin to allow integration of a SCCS
commands?
