Hi Andy/Blair,
I've been trying to get version 4 and stuff downloaded for the last couple of hours, but I can't get through. Is that because half the JAVA population has finally found out that Dolphin is a far better product or is there a problem at the download server end? Thanks, Ted |

We have recently changed the links to use FTP (to solve problems with Netscape not interpreting MSI files as binary) so maybe this has some bearing on your problem. Can you make sure you refresh the doanloads page and try again. Let us know if you still have problems. The site itself is really snappy between pages, it's just the download area that I'm having problems, independent of what I'm trying to download (any of the v4.0's, ec, plugins, ...) Ted |

Ted,

No, it can't be that because you wouldn't have got as far as you did with your previous download attempts (and we would surely have had similar complaints from the other purchasers). I think the directory can't be read by anonymous access but going straight to the files should be ok. Please try the following link to pull the files from our forthcoming UK mirror. Of course you can replace the filename at the end with any of the files you require. You might have to look at the original downloads page to discover the filenames. http://www.object.arts.dial.pipex.com/Lib/Downloads/4.0/DolphinSmalltalkProf essional.msi Best regards, Andy Bower Dolphin Support http://www.object-arts.com --- Visit the Dolphin Smalltalk Wiki Web http://www.object-arts.com/wiki/html/Dolphin/FrontPage.htm --- |
