[squeak-dev] FreeType (FT2Plugin) on 64Bit Linux?

John Thornborrow
Hi all,

has anyone successfully built the FreeType plugin on 64Bit (x86) Linux?

I'm trying to do this myself (via VMMaker) but am receiving an error in
my terminal:

localhost opt # squeak unix-3.10-3.image
ioLoadModule(/usr/local/lib/squeak/3.10-1/FT2Plugin):
  /usr/local/lib/squeak/3.10-1/FT2Plugin: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32

Any advice greatly appreciated!

John

doesn't that mean you are trying to load a 32bit library? Maybe your
VM is 64bit, but you compiled FT2Plugin in 32bit.

Hi Brad,

Yes, pretty much, but I'm not the one who compiled the FT2Plugin, and am
looking to compile it myself, but don't know where to look yet. :)

Regards,
John.

Re: [squeak-dev] FreeType (FT2Plugin) on 64Bit Linux?

John Thornborrow
Does anyone know where I can get the source for the FT2Plugin, or a
63bit binary?

Thanks,
John.
