subcanvas vs viewHolder

subcanvas vs viewHolder

Whats the difference between a subcanvas and a viewHolder?
I have always just used subcanvases...

A ViewHolder will hold an arbitrary View object, whereas a Subcanvas
holds an ApplicationModel (subclass).

Could be just a subcanvas? -- which then works on the same app-model as
the main -- then its just
a thing to hold a set of widgets.
