superclass not present

Steve Waring-2
Hi,

Is there some way of accessing the latest defect list?

If I load a package containing a class which has had its superclass removed
(for example Inspector), I get a walkback. The walkback message doesnt
specifically address the problem. Should it print a notification to the
Transcript instead?

I am also seeing Defect #460 reported by Louis Sumberg on Win2k SP2.

Thanks,
Steve Waring

As soon as I've finished ploughing through all your postings (thanks, but
phew!) I'll post a link as a separate thread.

I'll look into that, but in any case "Inspector" should still exist as an
alias for BasicInspector for purposes of backwards compatibility. Defect
#489.

It is, in fact, by design. The Workspace "defaultFont" must be set
separately, unless you nil it.

I've just read this back and I realise it could imply that I am complaining
that Steve is making too many postings, which is not the case. When I said
"your", I was referring to the group in general having generated a
significant volume of feedback over the weekend. This feedback is welcome,
its just taking a while to process!
