How about another wrinkle?  What happens if you save the image on one of Windows or Linux and open it on the other?

Philippe: Can you do a little test: just save the image, close it and open it again. Does that fix the problem?

I reported this problem but for Windows VM. I use Linux and works ok for me. But at work, I have Windows and I noticed that problem.
