tool registry?

abergel
Hi!

Shouldn’t "GTPlayground registerToolsOn: Smalltalk tools” be in the initialize class method?
I’ve just downloaded the last successful moose image, and opening a workspace does not bring the playground.

I did not make it the default because it does not yet offer dynamic variables as in the case of the default workspace. That is, you have to declare all variables.

I use it in my images though, and it is Ok for now. Should we make it the default?

In reply to this post by Tudor Girba-2
How hard is it to properly handle variables?
We could also have variables at the bottom of the workspace. Or maybe as a tab

Re: tool registry?

Tudor Girba-2
Hi,

Yes, you will get variables in a separate pane :).

But, until then, to solve the dynamic variables part we need a dedicated presentation, and I did not have enough time to figure it out yet. If anyone wants to join, please feel free :)

Cheers,
Doru
