unable to create session

otto
Hi,

I'm stuck for a moment; trying to log in with GemTools into GS 2.4.4.3
database. I'm it does not want to create the session, netldi responds
with:

'Unable to create a GemStone session.
Netldi ''gs64ldi'' on host ''revelations'' reports the request '''' failed:
Requested version level 3000, this server is at level 800'

I've been running GS 3 and just switched back to GS 2.4.4.3. I've
checked that my netldi version is a 2.4.4.3 version, as well as my
stone. $GEMSTONE is /opt/gemstone/product (soft link to 2.4.4.3).
gciForLinux.so points to /opt/gemstone/product/lib32/libgcirpc.so. I'd
think that the problem has something to do with the incorrect so being
cached or something like that? I bounced pharo...

Does anyone know where the mismatch is?

Thanks
Otto

BTW. I'm not getting the new 3.0.0Beta2 because the ftp server on
ftp.gemstone.com is complaining about the high load. Is there a way to
add some more load and get it?

'550-The load was 6.55 when you connected. We do not allow downloads
550-by anonymous users when the load is that high. Uploads are always
550 allowed.'
