[vw7.9] Image running on MAC under Parallels does not receive keyboard shortcuts

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)

OS X Yosemite 10.10.3

Windows 8.1

Parallels Desktop for Mac 10.2.1

VW 7.9

When pressing key combinations such as Shift+Ctrl+C, the InputState>>send:eventKeyPress: method received messages for the Shift and Control key, but not the letter key.  What needs to be done for these messages to be received?
