When I open the
process monitor from the keyboard (in Germany with [ctrl]-#), a character (shows
as $ "16r001C") is inserted in the active window after the process monitor is
closed. This does not happen when the process monitor is opened with
the launcher menu.
This is bad because
this modifies the text one was currently working on (browser, debugger etc).
Before resuming work one has to undo this modification
first.
