[vwnc] CST09NC-jun09.4 Installer

Conrad Taylor
Hi, I have downloaded the CSTNC09NC-jun09.4 ISO and I'm attempting to install on Mac OS 10.5.7.  So, why does it default to the FTP site, ftp.cincom.com, when I have the ISO?  Furthermore, I tend to install applications in /Applications and it uses /Users/conradwt instead.  In general, one should give the user the ability to select the installation path in the Typical Install.  BTW, I tried the Custom Install and the installer failed.

-Conrad

The exact error message is as follows:

Unhandled exception: not enough elements available

An error occurred in this application.
The application will terminate.
A diagnostic dump of the error could not be made, or the dump was incomplete.

I suspect that this error is caused by a packaging problem where we ended up with an empty Seaside tarball on the non-commercial ISO. It's not clear yet why, but should be fixed in the next build. In the meantime a complete Seaside tarball can be downloaded from the ftp server (vw-dev participants only).
