[vwnc] Cairo // System error ?

Maarten Mostert-2
Hi,

If I load ExtraIconsToo into a clean image through CairoGraphics 85 then save and restart the image I get somehting like the following

a SystemError(#'exception occured',#(3221225477 1759295575))

I use GTK+ 2.12.9-1

This concerns XP and Vista.  On OSX I get the cannot load library warning.

Are there any work arounds on this problem ?

Rgrds,

@+Maarten,

Hi Maarten,

I'm not sure really. I'd have to know more about the problem. To be
quite fair about HigherGlyphics and ExtraIconsToo, I did not put a lot
of time into them. It was demoware. In particular, the save and
restart problem. It's an interesting problem, because the "graphic"
lives on through the death and rebirth of the image, but obviously any
state contained in the cairo dll memory does NOT. I attempted to put
together a rather big hammer solution for this in HigherGlyphics. But
I did not have the time to really stress test it.

I'll try to load it later today and give that aspect a little more
thought, it is a real problem that of course has to be dealt with.
