[vwnc] Can 7.7 VM run a 7.4.x image?

So, can I use the 7.7 VM (or the 7.6 VM) to run a 7.4.x image?

I seem to recall that Cincom's rule is this:

If the VM and image have the same major number ("7" in "7.x") and the
VM's minor number ("x) >= the image's minor number, then the VM can run
the image.

Is that correct?
