[vwnc] Connection with another program

Hye
I wondering if is it possible to create a connection between
visualworks and another software?
I need to use specific functions of R statistical software in
visualworks,and I do not want to rewrite them in smalltalk.

Writing R Extensions covers how to create your own packages, write R help files, and the foreign language (C, C++, Fortran, ...) interfaces

If it is possible to have a C dll/ so file created for the platforms you are interested in. Smalltalk can interface through the dll both calling out and callback.
