[vwnc] Detecting if we are in a StORE transaction

We would like to detect if the current Process is currently running in a StORE transaction.  Is there a good way of doing this?  We are facing a bug which causes an unhandled exception in an ObjectStudio 8.2 primitive.  (Not our bug.)  We can guard the primitive call with Exception handling, and send the message s second time.  However, we would like to do this only in a StORE transaction, so we do not mask other exceptions.
