Hello,
Is anyone aware of tools for interfacing VW to typical EDA tools and formats (Verilog / VHDL / lef / EDIF /... files, OpenAccess database, ...)? Regards, michel _______________________________________________ vwnc mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vwnc |

You can use VW's web services (WSDL, SOAP, HTTP, etc.), though you must be at VW 7.4.1 or later. Bear in mind that "EDA" (Equipment Data Acquisition) is a specific suite of standards defined by SEMI (http://www.semi.org). EDA is *not* Verilog, VHDL, etc. The SEMI "EDA" standards are: E120, E125, E132, and E134. Well, I meant EDA, like in Electronic Design Automation. I was just
looking if someone had done some work on tooling in VW or made some tools easily accessible from within VW. regards, michel On Mar 22, 2008, at 8:38 PM, Chris Winemiller wrote: > Michel Tilman wrote: >> Hello, >> >> Is anyone aware of tools for interfacing VW to typical EDA tools >> and formats (Verilog / VHDL / lef / EDIF /... files, OpenAccess >> database, ...)? >> >> > Yes. Oops, sorry. "EDA" obviously means multiple things depending on the
industry context.
