[vwnc] Future of Smalltalk in 2009

   It would be nice to ask for comments, ( from the older, wizened Smalltalkers) , what they see 2009 holds for Smalltalk in the light some really amazing revival of its fundamental appeal:

* RubyOnRails... 

* Seaside and its adoption across other Smalltalks

* A more vibrant community and a lot more contributions 

 Lots of other reasons to feel good to be a Smalltalker..  will there be more reasons to cheer as 2009 unfolds. Will corporates see more reasons to retain Smalltalk and extend. Newer investments in Smalltalk or its avatars. More of prognostics, a feel: optimistic or not.

 Or as Alan Kay said: "The best way to predict the future is to invent it"
