[vwnc] Updating PATH env variable -- Windows ..

WinXP ...

When we install on a client PC, we update the PATH env var (via the
registry), but this
does not tell running code to update -- I know you can do this from
C/C++, but
has anyone done the code to kick windows system when an env-var is changed??
