Hello All,
In our application we sometimes generate the postscript output using
which could later turned into the Jpeg or PDF.
The application can adjust fonts for the text elements and can set up
any font available on windows.
HEre is what happening when I set the font to something like Arial:
When I print to the printer the output looks like it is on the screen.
When I print to the Adobe Acrobat distiller it looks like a screen.
However when I print to the postscript file and then run it thought the
Adobe distiller it looks different -- the fonts are all different.
It turns out that PostScriptPrinter uses some font substitution tables
which give wrong results....
in the example with Arial it turns into the Paladino which is not
correct, and should be more Like Helvetica...
Does anyone know how to set the Postscript font to do correct
substitutions ?
