[vwnc] ValueModels and Announcements

Hello,
Does anybody know if there is a way to hook up the ValueModel hierarchy with Announcements?

I'd like to have a model which only triggers Announcements and using it for a GUI, but to display the changes in the view I have to use the "standard" mechanism (self changed: #name) in order to show the updates.
