Hello,
I saw a few days ago [1] that Michael Lucas-Smith is porting the latest code of seaside from Squeak into VisualWorks.
We are currently working with Seaside 2.8 and Swazoo as a web server, so I was wondering if the dependencies between Seaside (bundle) and Opentalk could be avoided for the next release. We have already undergone the part of separating Seaside from Opentalk specifics and we are willing to share those refactorings so that the next release of seaside can be server-agnostic. We also know that Seaside 2.9 was conceived with this aim [2], so it would be a shame to tie Seaside to a specific web server.
Thanks,
Lautaro Fernández
