[vwnc] WebDAV client

Vacha Petr

Hi all,

is there any WebDAV client available to be used in VW application? I spent 2 hours googling around but without success (I found AIDA-WebDAV, but this seems to be a server part and also little heavyweight for my purposes).

I would like to interact (load/store files) on the MS SharePoint server.

If there is any other solution, I appreciate to let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Petr Vacha

Hi Petr,

I'm planning to revive the WebDAV support in Aida in a month or so and
maybe I can make a client WebDAV too. I have a feeling that such a
client isn't so hard to do, after we already have a server part.

And yes, Aida WebDAV is actually quite standalone already, so it won't
be too hard to use it separately, on top of Swazoo of course.

So, question is, how much you are in hurry for a WebDAV client?

Best regards
Janko

Re: [vwnc] WebDAV client

By heavyweight I meant that accompanying class library containing Swazoo and Aida parts looks really heavy when comparing what I really need to do (load/store files, nothing else). However, I will try it, thanks.

Actually, I'd not call it hurry, but it is part of my ongoing development, which may be skipped completely (there are internal plans to skip using Sharepoint at all). Therefore no hurry at all ;o)

I will keep checking Aida development to see what is going on there.

Thanks for interest,
P.
