[vwnc] patch and VM status of Sockets and Opentalk for 7.6

Hi,
 
I am a little bit confused about the status of the patches for Opentalk and Socket related problems in 7.6.
 
Resolution 95271 with a new VM (called 7.6b), Opentalk parcels and 2 file-ins. This did fix some of the problems, but not all. Later I got
Resolution 95743 with a new VM (also called 7.6b !!!!) and no image side patches. Now I see
Resolution 96169 with a new VM (called 7.6c).
 
The descriptions for the patches is rather incomprehensible, so that I can not decide if I would need them or not.
Since the Resolution 95271 is not available anymore on the patch portal, I wonder what the status of the new Opentalk parcels is? Are they now part of another patch or were they retracted?
 
Any help would be appreciated,

Hi Christian,

 

Resolution 95271 had some issues in the OpenTalk patches. As a result, we retracted the resolution, and repackaged the 7.6b VM as Resolution 95743 without the image side patches. We subsequently released 7.6c VM, which handled additional issues, as well as being for all platforms rather than just for Windows.

 

Please use the 7.6c VM, and disregard the previous resolutions.
