3.9-MC (date was late) is it a bug ?

cbeler
Hi

it's not the first time I have this problem...
On a fresh image, loading magritte-all and/or pier-all cause me a
problem... It doesn't want to load the first time... and it shows (data
was late) in the Transcript...

Actually, it is trying to access the repository:
'http://modules.squeakfoundation.org/People/gk/' which is slow to answer...

I have no idea why !!!

so the solution for me is to remove this repository. Is it useful anyway
? if not can we remove it ?

and otherwise is it a MC bug that can be solved?

Thanks

Cédrick

The only reference I find in my image to this directory is from:

    ScriptLoader>>cleanOldRepositories

Are you maybe using an old Squeak 3.9?

Strange I have

MCHttpRepository
        location: 'http://modules.squeakfoundation.org/People/gk/'
        user: 'squeak'
        password: 'squeak'

in the list of repositories as well. And it does not work. So we
should remove it from 3.9. I don't know why MC is trying to access it
though. I just loaded Magritte from SqueakMap this morning and it
worked.
