3D warehouse needs abstractions to build with

The pieces might not even look like anything but put together they would.

I think I want something to save pieces of graphics work and make
those pieces findable faster than regenerating them.
I've seen that sort of thing illustrated in Maya.
I don't know whether there would be the price of a steep learning curve
to use an abstract warehouse.

First, I'd like to see a concrete warehouse and where it is in code
to illustrate squeaked objects.

I looked at directory structure
and found it reflected in that of my mac directory!

The inside of glasses.ASE is, not 1's and 0's, but human readable and
modifyable text hurray!

Staring at it and remember an openGL Stanford rabbit
having a mesh specification.

Two syntaxes might be easier to hypothesize a cracking parse for
than one.
