Yes, it is nice. It's community work - I just helped preserving it.
From what I can reproduce from history:
I guess initially some Spreadsheet morph and code appeared on
http://www.squeaksource.com/GSoCSqueakland/written by Ricardo Moran (see
http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/pipermail/squeak-dev/2011-October/161662.html)
I guess some of this later was picked up by Hans-Martin Mosner writing a better version.
Then Stef rescued Hans-Martins code for Pharo 2.0 in 2013 as a simple changeset fileout
(see
http://forum.world.st/Spreadsheet-widget-td4663257.html).
I later packed, added a config and did small cleanups in 2015.
I guess Ben Coman also helped keeping a part of the code alive inbetween.
