Hi,
I just moved "Spreadsheet" from SmalltalkHub (http://www.smalltalkhub.com/#!/~TorstenBergmann/Spreadsheet) to a community owned location at GitHub ("https://github.com/pharo-contributions/Pharo-Spreadsheet"). If I remember correctly the project goes back to ancient Squeak times - but it was kept up to date and is basically working. So if you want to write the next killer spreadsheet application in Pharo then you might want to use this as a base. Screenshot attached Have fun T. (aka astares) |

Yes, it is nice. It's community work - I just helped preserving it.
From what I can reproduce from history: I guess initially some Spreadsheet morph and code appeared on http://www.squeaksource.com/GSoCSqueakland/ written by Ricardo Moran (see http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/pipermail/squeak-dev/2011-October/161662.html) I guess some of this later was picked up by Hans-Martin Mosner writing a better version. Then Stef rescued Hans-Martins code for Pharo 2.0 in 2013 as a simple changeset fileout (see http://forum.world.st/Spreadsheet-widget-td4663257.html). I later packed, added a config and did small cleanups in 2015. I guess Ben Coman also helped keeping a part of the code alive inbetween. Bye T. > Gesendet: Freitag, 03.
