[ANN] Squeak 3.9 gamma 7055

stéphane ducasse-2
Hi all

Adrian fixed the changeset bug!
And now we produced the final gamma of 3.9.
The repositories have been cleaned following the list you gave me.

I removed the 7054 release containing the new sources....
So that 3.9 gamma can be the release with no pending changes and a
new sources code and
condense changes.

----------------------------------------------
Welcome to the final gamma version of 3.9 of 29 of August 2006
http://www.squeak.org/

We hope that you will really appreciate this version and that Squeak
will help you making your projects reality.

You can also participate to Squeak at different kinds of levels. This
can be as simple as:
        - asking questions in the beginner list
([hidden email]) or in the dev list
                ([hidden email])
        - answering questions
        - finding and reporting bugs at:
                bugs.impara.de
        - fixing them, testing fixes and commenting them
        - writing tests for uncovered parts
        - helping for the website
        - creating new cool products, frameworks, applications
        in squeak
        - writing articles....

We wish you a lot of fun and we would like to thanks all the
persons that participated to make this release a really good one.
We know who you are!

Hi Stef,

I'm checking the changes from the kernel image and I see that some
methods (ClassDescription>>addSelectorSilently:withMethod:,
ClassDescription>>applyChangesOfNewTraitCompositionReplacing:,
TraitDescription>>applyChangesOfNewTraitCompositionReplacing:,
TraitDescription>>removeSelector:,
TraitDescription>>addSelectorSilently:withMethod:) have decompiled
sources.

BTW, I may start with description of kernel image overrides. Is Mantis
the right place for that?

Cheers,
-- Pavel
