Damien,
here I report from Saturday's Smalltalk Party in Berne. Many thanks from all participants, they all recognize and appreciate the hard work you do with making availabe your fine click-and-start .images. We even managed to infect another Mac notebook with a squeak-dev .image which includes the UI enhancements :) There's one suggestion, raised during the one-click-seaside demo: can your .images be made available in the same way (like one-click-seaside for the various platforms). Thanks again for your good work! /Klaus On Wed, 14 Nov 2007 15:15:58 +0100, Damien Cassou wrote: > Hi, > > I've just uploaded new squeak-dev and squeak-web images based on > Squeak3.9-7067. Don't forget I'm open to comments/criticisms/questions. > There's one suggestion, raised during the one-click-seaside demo: can your > .images be made available in the same way (like one-click-seaside for the > various platforms). Do you mean a package with an executable for the Linux platform, one for MacOS X...? The file would be 7MB bigger but I agree it would be simpler for new users. I could make both, but I would have to automate all these things because it's starting to be too time consuming :-). What do others think? -- Damien Cassou |

(all VM plus needed files). Maybe all could have for easier start adding our images to this ? Edgar |
