Adding "Sponsored by"?

Göran Krampe
Hi folks!

I was wondering - would we (as in "the Squeak community") consider adding
some kind of "sponsored by"-plaquets or something on www.squeak.org
indicating monetary support or support services from other
companies/organisations?

I am asking this because the company I work for (Toolkit) is currently
supporting squeak.org with 30 Gb of backup space and... well, it would be
a nice argument internally. ;)

Also, I think it would probably be rather simple to get a bit of monetary
support with this "carrot"!

regards, Göran

Hi Göran--

I think we should give credit where credit is due, and be specific.
E.g., "Backup space provided by Toolkit Inc.". I think "sponsored by" is
too vague and could be misinterpreted to our detriment.

     thanks,

Good idea, I agree. :) Always good to be specific.
