Animating Windows XP, workflow and Croquet

I'd very much like to automate things on our corporate Windows XP desktops, our Unix servers and to experiment with Croquet for multi-user applications. I'm specifically thinking about inter-departmental work flows, integrating local and cloud applications. Any experience or help with this would be most appreciated.
