BitstreamVeraSerif -- no italics?

Sans-Serif are good for code, but for Welcome To Squeak 4.5 I wanted
to use BitstreamVeraSerif.

But italics does not seem to show in that font, only bold and underline.

I know almost nothing about fonts -- can we use italics with this font?

Have you loaded this font from from a ttf file? There are separate ttf
files for different font styles. Have you loaded all of them?

I didn't load any fonts.  As I mentioned, this is for one of the
built-in workspaces of the release image.  So I'm looking to use one
of the default fonts.

Italics works for pre-loaded font VeraSans, just not VersaSerif, which
is why I asked..
