The box-admins team is reponsible for seeing that the community shared
server is maintained and setting up any new features to be hosted on that server. The highlight of March was the beginning of setting up Subversion on the hosting box to initially host translation files and perhaps later the platform specific VM files. More about this in the next report since this was not completed in March. Otherwise we: Setup new squeak.org aliases for the Planet Squeak sites. Fixed some problems with http://source.squeakfoundation.org with Göran Krampe's assistance. Moved some of the ezmlm mailing lists to Mailman. This included the mailing list for the Box Admins team. Any new requests for assistance from this team should be directed to [hidden email] Marcus Denker has become the overall mailing list administrator. If you need a new mailing list, or need some administration assistance contact Marcus and go ahead and Cc the box-admins team mailing list. If the issue is perhaps network or server related then someone else on the box-admins team may take care of it. I want to thank the community for the monetary support needed to fund these boxes and remind them that the bills continue to appear and that you can currently contribute to the hosting bills by going to http://discuss.squeakfoundation.org/ and clicking on the 'donate' button at the top right. Note that a donation here may be used for other Squeak Foundation services including but not limited to development, development infrastructure, and promotion of Squeak. The services being hosted have continued to grow and include (but are not limited to): http://www.squeak.org/ SqueakMap - http://map.squeak.org/ http://ftp.squeak.org/ http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/ http://discuss.squeakfoundation.org/ http://source.squeakfoundation.org/ http://map.squeak.org/ https://svn.squeak.org/ (new subversion repository, not yet populated) and DNS services for squeak.org and squeakfoundation.org domain names.
