Changes between 4.5 & 4.6 broke the ScorePlayerMorph sliders

timrowledge
Whilst looking for usages of SimpleSlider I tried out a ScorePlayerMorph and found something weird looking; the supposed sliders for volume etc do not work and do not look anything like they used to.
The code creating them hasn’t changed in a long time (as in, since 2003) so even though setting a slider’s extent to 80@2 looks odd, that isn’t the problem.

I can see that there some recent changes to Slider layout stuff but it’s not currently making a lot of sense. Marcel, it seems to be your initials lurking in the area, so maybe you remember what was changed?

I see similar issues with the WaveEditorMorph as well. There’s an extra bit if weirdness that might makes somebody think “ooh, maybe I broke that…” in that initially the editable values for various things are misaligned, but if you try to edit them they jump into what I suspect is the proper place. This is not behaviour I’ve seen before.

Initial -

after edit -

Notice the scroller masquerading as a thin line. I mean, sure, ten out of ten for the David Bowie tribute from the Thin White Line, but minus several million for unusable.

Happily the WaveEditorMorph issues seem to be gone at update 16(963). The original issue with the ScorePlayerMorph continues.

10.0 times 0.1 is hardly ever 1.0.
