Creating hotkeys under 7.9?

Steve Cline
ctrl+shift+T writes "ifTrue:" in my code editor, but I used to have it defined (many years ago) to write "ifTrue:[  ]" with the cursor positioned between the brackets.  What is the "right" way to define that in the 7.9 framework?  There are a number of preformatted strings I need frequently enter, some with dates or other computable values.

I'm definitely biased, but I prefer CodingFeel's abbreviation support for this. It comes with few predefined abbreviations that you can change easily and allows defining your own (even on the fly). The parcel shipped with any non-ancient VW release.
