Croquet technical conference call -friday October 5- at 2:30 EDT = 1:30 CDT = 11:30 PDT

Peter Moore-5
Hi everyone,

Tomorrow is the bi-weekly Croquet technical meeting in Qwaq Forums.
Mark McCahill isn't able to attend so he's asked me to send out the
reminder and set an agenda. The end of 2007 is approaching...beware
the Jabberwock. But what will Jabberwocky look like? How will it be
significantly different than the Hedgehog release?

Here are some issues I would like to see addressed:

1) Launching. How will Jabberwocky be launched by users? How can it
be integrated with the Web and IM clients?
2) Persistance. Will it be built in? What approach should Jabberwocky
take? Will there be available spaces to connect to at release?
3) Scripting. Will there be any support for scripting languages such
as Lua, Javascript, Python, etc?
4) Audience. Will Jabberwocky be targeted at developers or end-users?
5) Avatars. How do we improve the current avatars? Will users be able
to customize their appearance from within Croquet?

I think that is enough to get the conversation started. Please feel
free to add to the list or comment on any of the items.

If anyone needs a Qwaq Forums account to attend tomorrow's meeting
please e-mail me.
