Current version of TextFiles ?

Guys, is there a maintained version of TextFiles around?  Or is there
some better equivalent nowadays?

I just started to force Celeste to use Unix line endings in one
circumstance, only to discover that not only is TextFiles not
standard, but is not even available in the universe any longer.

Is there a replacement for TextFiles, or is the 1.0 cs file on
SqueakMap the most current thing?  I want:

    1. On read, to tolerate any form of line ending.

    2. On write, in this case, to be able to force
    a specific line ending.
