How does Metacello actually compare with other DVCS like Git, Mercurial, Bazaar?

Hi. I think that basically because they are different tools. One is a version system and the other one is a package management system.

Monticello is a DVCS though, so how does Monticello compare with other DVCS?  Version control and repository/package management is all very closely related though.

In this line, you want to compare Monticello with Git, Mercurial.... for source revision control.

Metacello is at the level of release/configuration management, more in line with package systems like apt, port, cpan, ctan...
