Thanks. That's what the Darwin warning said, I neglected to say that
in my post. Sorry to say "I knew that". It is great, though, to have someone
make me not feel alone in my Amazonian Darwinian explorations.
Evidently, I don't need Darwin. I'm out of the jungle and I grabbed a gimp2
when tomorrow I have high speed access at library.
Found it on my last developers disk, finding amongst my developer disks the
tiger
install disk might be hard, but I was lucky and it was on the last.
I also googled X11 and gimp2 after lateral thinking about John Dobson
astronomy
day and bam I can grab the gimp2 wo all the regressive installs.
