When googling (smalltalk free books), I have first the adress on IAM (http://www.iam.unibe.ch/~ducasse/FreeBooks.html ) and not Steph personnal adress on the free FAI (http://stephane.ducasse.free.fr/FreeBooks/) which seems up to date: I don't know if it's the same for everybody but maybe the best is to update, redirect the IAM page which arrives first with google. Steph, is it possible ? Thanks Cédrick |

Stef is currently on holidays, do not expect an answer before few weeks.
I do not know exactly how stef manages his web pages, but I would expect his website on iam to be a copy of the free.fr one. It is already done. http://www.iam.unibe.ch/~ducasse/FreeBooks.html now redirects to http://stephane.ducasse.free.fr/FreeBooks.html There is a mirror here: http://www.iam.unibe.ch/~scg/Mirrors/stephane.ducasse.free.fr/FreeBooks/ - on On Apr 13, 2008, at 3:24, Bergel, Alexandre wrote: > Stef is currently on holidays, do not expect an answer before few > weeks. > I do not know exactly how stef manages his web pages, but I would > expect his website on iam to be a copy of the free.fr one. > > I will tell him > > Alexandre > > On 11 Apr 2008, at 08:39, Michael Davies wrote: >> On Thu, Apr 10, 2008 at 7:04 PM, cdrick <[hidden email]> wrote: >>> Arf, I've just understood why I missed that... >>> >>> When googling (smalltalk free books), I have first the adress on IAM >>> (http://www.iam.unibe.ch/~ducasse/FreeBooks.html ) and not Steph >>> personnal adress on the free FAI >>> (http://stephane.ducasse.free.fr/FreeBooks/) which seems up to date: >>> >>> I don't know if it's the same for everybody but maybe the best is to >>> update, redirect the IAM page which arrives first with google. >>> >>> Steph, is it possible ? >>> >> >> This would be very useful, as I also inadvertently linked to the old >> version from the news article, so there may be a number of people who >> have now bookmarked the old page. >> > > -- > _,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;: > Alexandre Bergel http://www.bergel.eu > ^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;._,.;:~^~:;. > > > > |
