I think the company name is VERY misleading (Corporate Smalltalk Consulting)

I just assumed that John McIntosh entered this info (since that's his company, AFAIK) and he had to register a company for Apple to accept the entry. Yes that is correct a couple of years ago I had posted the Squeak 3.x
to the Apple's product list. In posting Sophie I had noted Squeak had fallen off the list and learned that Apple stated listings are kept only X number of months. Therefore I added Squeak back in, and as you see they list it under the company that is registered as the developer who is making the entry. Now if the Squeak Foundation wants to pay a Apple developer fee, I guess they could migrate it to their account. Oh and better yet get a ADC premier account and I'll gladly take the WWDC ticket it comes with and attend the conference on SqF behalf. Sorry John, I guess that sounded rude. I certainly appreciate the PR
you are giving Squeak at your own expense. I might add that John pointed the entry to www.squeak.org, not to his own website. Thanks, John. We need all the exposure we can get. > > > > On Apr 23, 2007, at 2:11 PM, Brad Fuller wrote: > >> Jason Rogers wrote: >>> I think the company name is VERY misleading (Corporate Smalltalk >>> Consulting) >> yeah... That's ok, it would be wrong of me to imply I wrote it all, I'll note
click on the link takes you to squeak.org. However I'll ask if we can change the company name that appears to the Squeak Foundation, perhaps it's possible, and really we should register say Seaside and Croquet however it's unclear who should do that. Ah, ok, well if you visit
http://www.apple.com/downloads/ and click on the submit download it appears you can be a Apple Developer Connection (ADC) Online. So don't we have a Squeak PR person, which could on behalf of the SqF apply (free it seems) and register squeak, seaside and croquet? Likely then too mange the Squeak listing in www.versiontracker.com On Apr 23, 2007, at 2:39 PM, Jason Rogers wrote: -- ======================================================================== === John M.
