How to move World Menu using polymorph

newsgroups-4
Hello everybody.

Ofcourse I'm new to squeak ;-)

I've changed my UI-Theme to 'watery' and have the 'softer' prettier
looks now, but I don't know how to put the 'World' Menu up at the top
as is in this flickr Image:

http://flickr.com/photos/simonnckirk/1213406097/sizes/l/

Also, I'd like to know what I must do to set the transparency of the
task bar and the World Menu bar. It looks great the way it is in the
image above.

I have googled (and on different days - and yes I let it 'sink in'),
but I may not have used the correct terms. Any help?

Thanks & Regards,

Ole.

From the preference browser, what you are looking for is the
showWorldMainDockingBar

I guess you know where is the preference browser as you already changed
the theme.

For transparency, you can request the halo surrounding the morph you
want to set the transparency, then click on the pink "change colour"
icon, at the right of the morph. From the upper part of the colour
picker you can adjust the transparency.

Re: Re: How to move World Menu using polymorph

Thank you very much, that was exactly what I was looking for. It takes
a while to get a grip on how Squeak does things ;-)
So, although I had found the colour-picker I did not immediately
understand how to actually change it. Re-reading your post again (and
again) I finally discovered the secret being in 'sliding' the top bar
with the word 'transparency' in it. I'm just repeating the obvious
because someone else might stumble into the same mental trap as I did
:-)

Thanks again & Regards,

Ole.
