Sorry for the cross-posting, but this is open to all.
Presentation proposals are now being accepted for the 6th Annual
Illinois Online Conference for Teaching and Learning. This year, there is
a special category for “Activities in 3D Virtual Worlds.” The
conference committee hopes to hold several of the 90+ live online sessions in virtual
worlds, and attract a great keynoter in this field. (suggestions welcome, write
to [hidden email] with your ideas)

This conference is held entirely on the Internet using: live
virtual classrooms, recorded presentations, email, web poster sessions,
synchronous chats, discussion areas, and other Internet technologies. IOC was
created to focus on issues and concerns of K-20 classroom faculty and related
technology support, learning resources, student services, and workforce
development professionals.
IOC 2008 takes place in a LearningTimes Online Conference
Community - an online environment in which groups of participants, both small
and large, gather electronically to learn, collaborate and network. Not
sure how an online conference works? Want to experience the conference
community before registering? Highlights from last year's conference are
