In sq 9938 Test runner is acting weird.

Jerome Peace
I found this in the context of trying to run a selected test.

In a fresh squeak
get a test runner from the world menu.

Select a package from the left hand list.
Note that while the package's list of test classes  appears the item selected is not highlighted.

Note that nothing in the list of test classes is highlighted. Usually everything is highlighted.

Select one class out of the list. At some point (first or second try) it is highlighted.

Get menu while over item and ask "selected inverted"

Note no change in highlighting.

Run selected.

Note it seems the wrong number of tests are being run.

So something is weird.

It was weird in the previous release candidate also.

Annoying. :(

When it first opens, I see nothing highlighted in the left pane, and everything highlighted extremely lightly in the pane next to the right.

On Mac, and 4.1 rc4, I see an extremely light highlighting.

If I for example select KernalTests-Objects, all the classes show extremely lightly highlighted. If I select another package, and deselect the first one, nothing is highlighted in the class list. I don't see a pattern to how it decides what is highlighted in the class list and when.
I sometimes see some highlighted with the same extremely light highlighting. The number of items highlighted does not seem to be repeatable, at least I can't see how.

I think the only issue here is that the selection color (which was light
blue IIRC) is white or transparent now.

Well, the selection color is still there (very light bluish-grayish), but
on my other monitor it's like white or transparent.
